Upgrade your truck with the best inner grille on the market for 1971-1972 Chevrolet Trucks. Designed, produced, brushed/polished, welded, and shipped from Oregon, USA.
Engineered to match the OEM plastic inner grille as close as possible - each 71-72 Grille AF has 23+ individual aluminum pieces laser cut, finished on three sides (brushed or polished) and then hand-assembled.
After assembly, each joint is TIG welded on the backside for strength. There are more than 120 individual TIG welds!
On our polished Grille AFs, the aluminum is touched up polished after welding for show-quality finish
For extra strength - this item mounts to the factory core support (not to outer grille surround)
The center of grille has welded tabs that mount to the center hood brace.
The stock Chevrolet bow tie is mounted into welded on tabs. Blue Chevy Bow tie emblem sold separately
Note that this product will require drilling (4) holes in core support.
Mounting brackets are powder coated steel.
