The Engineered Vintage 'GOAT' bumper - styled after the winch bumpers offered in the 70s & 80s by several different winch bumper companies, the 'GOAT' incorporates the timeless styling and versatility of older winch bumpers with modern technology and design.
The 'GOAT' is fits ALL electric vehicle winches available on the market today. From older Harbor Freight designs, to the modern WARN ZEON & older WARN M10,000, M12,000, M15,000, & M16.5.
The 'GOAT' will also fit hydraulic winches - but please call us with your winch dimensions before purchase.
And the 'GOAT' is as strong or stronger than those old traditional winch bumpers.
The 'GOAT' has a 1/4" thick A-36 (that's 36,000 lb per square inch) steel center section mounted to truck frame with 1/4" frame brackets. The wings of the 'GOAT' are 1/8" steel that are welded in six places and attach to center section as well as the stock outer bumper braces.
To keep costs low, the 'GOAT' is sold in raw steel (powder coating & polished Stainless Steel avail at additional cost) and is completely bolt together.
With the GM truck Heavy duty triangulation kit (recommended on GM trucks winches above 9,000 lb capacity) the 'GOAT' ties into the frame and triangulates the winch back deeper into the truck frame - ensuring that your truck is not damaged from heavy winching and is able to get you out and back after it day after day!
The 'GOAT' bolts together with included hardware and comes in raw steel finish.

Installation considerations
Inspect truck frame before installing this kit. Truck frame should be in good repair before installing. Frames that have rust holes, been cut, modified, drilled (other than for factory tow hooks or to mount 'GOAT') or that have any other damage should be professionally inspected and repaired before installation of Engineered Vintage winch mount kits and/or bumpers. DO NOT INSTALL ENGINEERED VINTAGE WINCH MOUNT KITS OR BUMPERS ON TRUCKS WITH DAMAGED, CORRODED, BENT, OR HEAVILY MODIFIED FRAMES.
What winches fit?
With the variety of winches available on the market today, note that not all winch combinations may work. However, rest assured that the 'GOAT' is designed to fit a wide variety of winches.
Installer should consider how their particular winch will be operated once installed (how to reach winch controls once winch is mounted) and check with their winch manufacturer on capability of their particular winch.
The 'GOAT' is designed to mount feet down & feet forward style winches with the common 10” x 4.5” bolt pattern as well as the less common 6.5” x 4.5” Badlands winch pattern and also the WARN 6” x 4.5” bolt pattern used on their competition/short drum winches.
